What Makes the 101 Series iDP Valve Different?

The 101 Series iDP valve utilizes a flexible diaphragm that completely isolates the process media from the solenoid actuator. This physical barrier protects the valve’s actuating components from corrosive chemicals, biological fluids, solvents and cleaning agents, extending valve life while maintaining consistent performance.

How Miniature Diaphragm-Poppet Valves Work

During operation, the energized solenoid lifts the diaphragm from the poppet seat, allowing media to flow through the valve. Upon de-energization, the diaphragm returns to the seat, creating a positive seal that prevents leakage, contamination and unnecessary media loss.

Because the valve retains very little residual media after closure, it’s particularly effective in applications that require rapid reagent switching and repeatable analytical results.
