Congratulations go to Stryker Medical who was recently honored with a 2014 Medical Design Excellence Award (MDEA) through the Medical Device and Diagnostic Industry (MMDI) for their newest hospital bed technology: The Isolibrium critical-care air support surface. The award was given for Stryker’s submission of the Isolibrium Surface into the Critical-Care and Emergency Medicine Product Category. The goal of the device is to serve as a tool for nurses to care for patients while the pressure redistribution system helps prevent pressure ulcers in patients.
Humphrey Products was also recognized as a “supplier to a winner” for our efforts in the design of the pneumatic controls portion of the Isolibrium Surface. The award comes as a great honor to Humphrey and we are proud of our relationship with Stryker Medical and to have had the opportunity to collaborate on this endeavor.
